I am very impressed by the attention to every detail given to these properties by Portland Maine Rentals. When I moved in to my apartment everything was in perfect condition. What is included in my rental price?
In short—all the comforts of home. Fully applianced and stocked kitchens, clean and comfortable bedding and linens, and stylish and functional furnishings chosen with an eye for interior design, comfort and functionality are just the start. We include Bose stereos, flatscreen TVs and free wifi. You’ll also find an ironing board and iron, hairdryers, coffee makers and alarm clocks, blankets and throws—and so much more. Our apartments are designed and stocked with you and your family in mind. While each of our unfurnished apartments carries a slightly different inventory, you can see a sample amenities list here.
Your rental also includes all basic utilities, monthly cleaning, off-street parking, internet access and cable television.

Can I work from your furnished apartment?
Need a home office? Many of our furnished rentals offer dedicated work space ideal for the traveling executive, and all furnished apartments include free wifi and cable television.
Are children welcome?
Children are welcome in any of our furnished apartments and townhouses. Contact us if you need additional cots, a high chair, play pens or any other standard accommodations for your children. While safe, clean and impeccably maintained, please note that our apartments are not babyproofed, and children of all ages should be supervised carefully during your stay.

Can I bring my pets?
Please let us know in advance if you wish to bring a pet. Each pet is considered on an individual basis, with special preference given to service animals. A prepaid deposit will be required for a pet.
Is housekeeping available?
Housekeeping is provided for select units. Cleaning services can be arranged at your expense by contacting us. Each apartment is also stocked with basic cleaning supplies for your convenience.
Is laundry available?
Several of our units include washers and dryers, and all of our buildings contain convenient, easily accessible coin-op laundry rooms. Dry cleaning and other laundry services can be arranged at your expense by contacting us.
Do you offer parking?
Each fully furnished apartment includes off-street parking for at least one car, and some may offer more. If you have special vehicle requests please contact us in advance of your stay.
We’re visiting in the summer—do you have air conditioning?
Whether through window units or central air, all of our furnished apartments offer air conditioning.
Can I smoke?
All our furnished units are smoke-free spaces. Smoking is not permitted in any of our furnished units, their common areas or adjoining public spaces.
How do I pay?
While payment protocols may vary depending on whether you are a personal or corporate client, Portland Maine Rentals makes billing simple and straightforward. All your expenses are included on one invoice and you will be billed in advance. If you need your billing handled in a specific way, please let us know.
What types of payment will you accept?
We are happy to accept your personal or business check, or Mastercard or Visa.
How do I check in?
We can’t wait to welcome you to southern Maine. We will provide you with addresses, a 24/7 phone number and directions from your point of entry. We can also arrange transport at your expense from major airports or transportation hubs if you contact us in advance. No matter when you arrive, we will be available to provide you with your key and a walk-through your apartment to help you settle in and answer any questions.
Do you require a security deposit?
While individual circumstances such as pets may require a deposit, it is not our standard procedure to obtain one for most rentals. We do however request a credit card to have on file for the duration of your stay.
What local entertainment do you recommend?
Each of our fully furnished apartments is located in a desirable neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, shops, galleries and more close by.
